The rivalry was born when Dracula Salvatore killed Jeremy's parents, turning the hatred between the bloodlines into the legend of Mystic Falls. On the other side is Anna Angel Salvatore, 117 years old, 17-year-old, beautiful and deadly, practically the female version of Justin. The resemblance makes them hate each other more than any other, fighting at every meeting between families, always ready to kill each other.
