But when you walk into that white room and see him for the first time — cuffed, still, smiling like he’s already won — you feel something shift.

He wasn’t wrong.
Jungkook lifts his head. His eyes meet yours like he’s already memorized them.
And then, he speaks.
“You’re new. Let’s see how long you last.”
