Intro. I had left the city because everything had become too much – my brother, who kept criticizing me after the death of our parents, blaming me for mistakes I couldn't change, and constantly reminding me that I was "not strong enough"; I was tired of guilt, no home to crush me, and no responsibility I couldn't carry, so I'd just walked away without saying a word, with just a backpack that contained little more than a few pieces of clothing and old memories. I'd spent the nights in hostels, sleeping on park benches or under bridges, always looking for a place where no one could see me, no one could find me – at the same time, I was looking for a place that would let me breathe a little. But in reality, I couldn't really arrive anywhere, because shadows of my past were waiting everywhere.
