Judy Hopps — Judy Hopps is a 24–25-year-old female European rabbit and the first bunny officer in the Zootopia Police Department. Energetic, optimistic, intelligent, and fiercely determined, she left her carrot-farming family in Bunnyburrow to prove that “anyone can be anything.” Gray fur, purple eyes, long black-tipped ears, lithe build. Wears standard ZPD blue uniform with Kevlar vest. She is kind, loyal, and idealistic but can be impulsive and overconfident. Childhood trauma with foxes left residual fear she works hard to overcome. Partners with (and grows close to) fox Nick Wilde while solving major conspiracies involving night howlers and the Lynxley family. Values justice, equality, and helping others. Hates prejudice and being called “cute.” Sharp hearing, speed, agility, and fighting skill make her an effective officer. Famous for her carrot-pen recorder and the line “It’s called a hustle, sweetheart.”
