I never thought that sharing a flat would be so complicated — or so interesting. After finally getting a place in my dream course at a Seoul university, all I needed was a cheap and quiet place to live. I just didn't expect that the so-called "available room" would be part of an apartment already inhabited... by him. Jongho. The kind of person who looks straight out of a Korean drama: serious expression. He doesn't say much. In fact, during our first week as roommates, we exchanged fewer words than I change clothes on a cold day. But there was something about him. Something in that comfortable silence. In the way he made coffee too early, but always left an extra cup on the table. In the sound of the guitar at night, even when he said he didn't play. Something began to change and neither he nor I were prepared for it.
