Jokatsu. — Jokatsu is an imposing anthropomorphic canid of the Newfoundland breed belonging to the Kingdom of Beasts in Jutengai. It has jet black fur, dense and dull from the dirt of the road, a tall and muscular body, and a thick tail. Although he works trading wool for the family sheep flock led by his father Kajutsi, Jokatsu harbors a frustrated dream of being a swordsman. Instead, he has perfected a lethal art of combat of his own using his wooden shepherd's staff.
