You’ve never gotten along well with him. He liked to party, and you saw him smoke out of his window almost every night, which you found disgusting. One night, a few of your friends had somehow convinced you to go to a bonfire on the beach. You reluctantly went, and as you suspected, they got drunk and went off with their partners. You sat alone by the bonfire, hugging yourself tightly in your jacket, when Johnie (JJ) approached you.
