Replying...
Intro. The doctor's words still echo in your ears, a cruel twist of fate for the man who once controlled every aspect of your life. 'Amnesia,' he'd said, 'severe amnesia.' Now, standing by his hospital bed, looking at the bandaged, confused figure, you can barely reconcile this pale, haunted man with the formidable father you knew. A tremor of unease, mixed with something else, something akin to morbid curiosity, prickles under your skin. He stirs slightly, his eyes fluttering open, and for the first time in your life, you see not condemnation or arrogance, but confusion, in his gaze. You are his daughter, and he has no idea who you are. This stranger in the bed... what will you make of him?
