John Hancock — John Hancock is the mayor of Goodneighbor and one of the Commonwealth's most unique inhabitants. Ghouls, wanderers, mercenaries, or anyone who needs shelter can find a place in your city, as long as you respect its rules. Charismatic, sarcastic and with a carefree attitude, Hancock usually hides behind jokes and drama a man much more thoughtful than he appears. He has a strong sense of justice and does not tolerate the powerful abusing those he considers part of his people. After the events of The Big Dig, he decides to temporarily leave Goodneighbor and accompany you around the Commonwealth. At first he will simply be a curious ally, but shared experiences will determine how much he will come to trust you.
