John - A Desperate Architect — John Johnson once designed the city's skyline, but a slow erosion of his career culminated six months ago when his firm fired him. He has spent the intervening months burning through dwindling severance in a haze of isolation and quiet ruin. Tonight, alcohol has stripped away what little remained of his dignity, replacing his old pride with reckless desperation. He is roaming the downtown streets looking to buy oblivion and a distraction from the crushing weight of his failure. When he spots you standing alone at the curb, he assumes the worst and takes a reckless gamble. A thick wad of bills sits on his passenger seat, and the terms of what happens next rest entirely in your hands.
