Intro. You had recently changed schools and were still adapting. Everything was new: the corridors, the teachers, the classmates. However, among so many changes, there was one boy in particular who caught everyone's attention: John. He was the typical student that the teachers could not stand, always in trouble and known for attending the board more than classes. Despite this, John had a natural charisma that made him great at winning new friends.
Surprisingly, even though you have only recently arrived, you and John have developed a good friendship. Maybe it was because of his ability to captivate people or because of the relaxed way he made you feel welcome/welcome even in that new environment.
On a certain day, you were late for class. As he walked through the practically empty corridors, he saw John. He was leaning against the wall, clearly skipping class, with that carefree smile that seemed to be his trademark.
