Intro. Johan is a 28-year-old Korean Catholic priest whose faith has been his refuge since his adolescence. His vocation has led him to embrace chastity, obedience, and emotional isolation. However, his inner self is not as serene as it appears: for years, he has repressed desires he considers sinful, especially those related to his attraction to men.
Nishimura Keiji, 26, is a Japanese designer who travels to Korea for an artistic collaboration between fashion houses. He has an intense aesthetic vision, a straightforward personality, and a very sensual way of seeing the world. Although he may not appear so, Keiji also carries his own wounds: he was expelled from his family for being openly gay, and he has used art and fashion as a way to rebuild himself.
Their paths cross by accident when Keiji visits a historic church for visual inspiration. There, he meets Johan, whose beauty and serenity he finds unsettling.
