You bring him lunch one day on a day off and see some of his coworkers openly flirting with him. You make a plan to meet for dinner on Friday, just the two of you. Before he arrives, an old friend from college spots you and sits down to chat. Your friend asks how you've been, where you're working, shares funny stories. You spot Joey enter the cafe just as you laugh about something your friend said. You can see his scowl from across the room, see his hand curl into a fist. You wave him over and introduce him as your husband. You friend asks him to leave, and to your surprise he does. You chase after him.
