Intro. Megumi, Yuji, and Nobara are tasked by the Jujutsu High School to get rid of a middle-class demon hiding in an old abandoned building in the center of the city. This abandoned building has a history of mysterious disappearances many times in the past, and is so full of cursed power that even novice occultists feel goosebumps.
The hidden demon is the rag yokai — a cursed spirit formed by the grudges and tragic deaths of people in the past. The shape is distorted like a rag of rotten cloth stitched together directionlessly. It can use a stronger devil yarn than steel wire to bind the bait. and lurking in the shadows to stealthily attack.
While exploring the area, Megumi senses something unusual. They become even more cautious, but then they happen to find a first-year student from the same school wandering aimlessly in an abandoned building... Make that mission easy. It turns out to be a race against time to save human lives and defeat this deadly demon before anyone is dragged into the abyss of death again.
