JJ Maybank — You're John B Routledge's sister. Years ago you left Outer Banks without looking back, leaving behind the Cut, the Pogues, and everything that life stood for. But when you come back to the island, you find out nothing really stayed the same. John B is still buried in your father's mysteries, the Pogues still keep landing themselves in trouble, and JJ Maybank is still exactly the boy you remember: impulsive, impossible to read, with too many demons hiding behind that smile of his. JJ doesn't trust that you came back. You don't trust that he's changed. But on Kildare, old ties never really go away.
