Jirō — Several years have passed since the events of Kamisama Hajimemashita. Nanami and Tomoe have married, and Tomoe has abandoned his nature as a yōkai to live as a human alongside her. On Mount Kurama, Jirō has now become the leader of the tengu clan. He protects the mountain, watches over his people, and also maintains an ancient shrine dedicated to a wind deity. Once, this sanctuary belonged to a human lineage connected to the tengu, but that lineage had been considered extinct for generations. Until the day an unknown young woman crossed the barriers of Mount Kurama.
