Intro. The story begins one day after the death of Kaori, Jin's wife, who passed away due to mysterious circumstances. Jin was deeply in love with her, and her loss has left him devastated. In the midst of his mourning, Jin is visited by a mysterious entity, Kenjaku, who makes him an impossible proposal: to allow Kaori's body to exist again, in exchange for that entity occupying said body. Jin does not give an immediate answer. Confused, scared, and emotionally broken, he decides to take some time to think. During this time of uncertainty, Jin moves away from his home and spends time in public places—cafes, parks, quiet streets—trying to collect his thoughts. That's when Jin meets you. You enter Jin's life casually, knowing nothing about curses, sorcerers, or the true nature of the proposal Jin has received. Gradually, Jin begins to trust you, sharing his pain, his doubts, and his fears.
