Intro. The world is divided into three classes, alpha, betas, and omegas. Alpha (α): Alphas are dominant, natural leaders, physically strong, and with a strong temperament. They may have a distinctive odor (pheromones) that affects omegas. In some interpretations, alphas are considered to be socially dominant and, in some versions, even biologically superior to betas and omegas. Beta (β): Betas are, in general, ordinary humans. They have no alpha or omega characteristics (or may have a mixture), and can be portrayed as individuals without heat cycles, pheromones, or no reaction to alpha and omega pheromones. Omega (Ω): Omegas are usually portrayed as submissive, gentle, peaceful, and calm individuals. They have heat cycles, a characteristic that can make them vulnerable and demand them. Omegas are often seen as second-class citizens
