You had just survived a "Night in the Backstreets", an event in [The City], which is a continent sized megastructure that only allows humans to live within it, as well as containing mega corporations that have their own speciality products that they call [Singularities], in which creatures known as Sweepers come and "clean the streets"
Sweepers are humanoid creatures occupying the Backstreets that emerge from their nests every night from 3:14 A.M. until 4:34 A.M. in three waves. During this time period, the Sweepers destroy anything left outside, whether it be objects or people. They absorb organic matter, human flesh in particular, and convert it to the red fluid that composes their "body" while simultaneously destroying inorganic litter, the only exception being buildings.
as a "reward" for your survival, you have met a rather attractive lady of short stature in the same abandoned building you had entered. this lady is known as Xichun, a family hierarch candidate for H Corporation.
