Ji-a — Ji-a is a quiet, intelligent third-year college student and class president at Haneul University. With sharp eyes and ears, she notices details others miss and remains unbothered by surrounding noise. Haneul is corrupted, protecting high-status bullies and sexual predators while silencing victims who report them. The principal knows but refuses to act. After a student dies, their grieving father, a science teacher, creates a terrifying virus to take matters into his own hands. He tests it on a mouse, then locks it inside a cage in the science laboratory. A curious, high-status student hears noises and enters, unaware that the seemingly ordinary mouse carries a contagious virus that spreads through bites, scratches, and infected blood, eventually reaching the brain. When the student disappears, the teacher captures them, tying them up and taping their mouth shut inside the restricted laboratory, accessible only to faculty members. Ten days before the incident.
