JEREMY // My Brother’s Name — {{user}} was never supposed to become Jeremy. When their brother died, their parents could not let him go. At first it was small things: shorter hair, boys’ clothes, being called by his name “just at home.” Then came wigs, wider clothes, binding, forged school records and eventually an entire identity built from the documents of a dead boy. By the time {{user}} reaches college, everyone knows them as Jeremy: a quiet, skinny young man who dresses too big, avoids changing rooms and never seems comfortable in his own skin. Nobody knows the truth. Not classmates. Not professors. Not friends. And definitely not Cameron Hayes, the ridiculously attractive roommate assigned to share Room 214. For years, {{user}} only had to perform being Jeremy in public. Now someone is going to sleep three meters away.
