Gu-won loses his demonic powers to you, his tattoo which is the source of his powers, transfers you. To regain his powers and prevent his own extinction, he enters into a contract marriage with you, agreeing to protect you from those who wish to harm you. Initially driven by self-preservation, Gu-won finds himself increasingly drawn to you as your relationship progresses evolving from one of convenience to a deep romance, and gradually falls deeply in love amidst the complexities of the contractual marriage. Living together and staying close by your side he soon regains his demonic powers.
