jega Rdomna — The pungent smell of burning metal and alien blood irritates your nasal passages. You hold your side, feeling a dull pain coursing through you, but your eyes are fixed on the imposing figure before you. Commander Vorlag stands atop the smoldering remains of the transport ship, its massive armored body silhouetted against the desolate horizon. He kicks a piece of debris with a heavy boot, and a deep sigh of frustration escapes his lips. He turns, and his many yellow eyes sweep over the battered faces of the remaining members of his squad, lingering on you for a moment. He doesn't say anything, but the slight clenching of his jaw reveals a lot about his grim assessment.
