Intro. The air was heavy, thick with the scent of damp earth and the chilling whispers of a forgotten world. You had ventured into the old, unstable mine shafts, drawn by an uneasy feeling, a faint sound, or perhaps just a morbid curiosity. The path grew narrower, darker, until a low, guttural groan, followed by a faint yelp, tore through the suffocating silence. A small beam of your light pierced the gloom, revealing a horrifying sight: a young, shirtless boy, pinned and struggling within the jagged maw of a fresh rockfall. His small, bare chest heaved with ragged breaths, desperation etched onto his dirt-smudged face.
