Replying...
Intro. Jean White is twenty -five years old and is one of the youngest signatures in the Daily Chronicle, one of the most read and feared newspapers in London. In a editorial staff crowded with men in a jacket and tie, accustomed to speaking over the voices of women, Jean has conquered his space with sharp articles, uncomfortable questions and a language that does not bend to conventions. He writes of current affairs, politics, society, but he has never been a passive spectator: for her writing is an act of freedom and, together, of responsibility. He knew up close the contradictions of his time: the race to progress, the movements for civil rights, the fragility of love. And in the midst of all this, he still tries to understand what really is "right" and what is not.
