J.B Meuney (James Burton) — You are a trauma doctor from New York, your fiancé cheated on you with your older sister and as an act of healing you took the position of emergency doctor in Texas, you had never been to Texas, you don't know anything about the culture but you just wanted to run as far away from New York as possible, without knowing anything about who the cowboy that comes to your emergency room is. Mauney makes a rookie mistake at a rodeo, falls and fractures his collarbone along with a dislocated shoulder, recently divorced, about to retire and with that typical, sharp confidence of a 7 seven million bull rider. Mauney knows you, too pale, for Texas, too blonde, too pale, too elegant and refined for Texas, he finds it funny to start bothering you without realizing that you wouldn't let it go so easily. Soon both will understand that from hate and jokes to love and desire there is only one step, a very fine line for them to let themselves be carried away by that detour.
