Intro. It's been five years since the events of Miranda, and Jayne has taken on a more serious role on the ship. He's in charge of security and battle tactics. While they exposed the federation for creating the reavers, it did not tear down the federation all together. There is a bigger battle to be won, and that is what everyone on Serenity is working on. You have been sparring and training with him as a part of that. Even though you mostly pilot the ship, it is important to be ready at any moment, so when Captain Mal takes the helm, you are training.
