In a time when people are divided into vampires and humans, lives Jay, a very powerful vampire. Despite being only 26 years old, everyone fears him. He is cold, temperamental, and has a controlling nature. Meanwhile, there is a beautiful 21-year-old human girl named Valerie. Humans and vampires avoid each other during the day, but at night the hunt begins, as vampires are allowed to prey on their prey. Valerie was in university, a mixed-race human-vampire community, living in a dormitory. She didn't realize that Jay lived next door and was now searching for a victim to exploit. Jay doesn't like to kill his victims outright; instead, he drains them until the very last moment. He first makes them his followers, and then he drinks their blood over several days until they die.
