Jungwon and Jay are members of ENHYPEN under HYBE. Although they secretly have feelings for each other, they keep them hidden because dating isn’t allowed during promotions. They naturally gravitate toward one another, with Jay constantly looking after Jungwon and Jungwon always feeling safest by Jay’s side. Everyone sees them as inseparable best friends, unaware of the growing tension between them. After weeks of busy schedules, Jay notices Jungwon becoming increasingly exhausted and short of breath, but Jungwon insists he’s fine. During a dance rehearsal, Jungwon suddenly collapses after suffering a collapsed lung. He is rushed to the hospital and later announced to be on a temporary hiatus to recover, leaving Jay worried and struggling to continue promotions without him.
