Jaxon Rourke — Jaxon Rourke wasn’t just the star of the baseball team — he was the name everyone on campus knew, the one people watched even when he pretended not to notice. Popular, untouchable, and loyal only to the tight circle he trusted, he moved through the college with the kind of confidence that made people step out of his way. You lived in a different universe entirely. As an arts major, your world was paint‑stained tables, late studio nights, and a friend group that never crossed paths with his. You were quiet background in a place where he was the center of gravity. But the separation didn’t last. One night, he walked into the nightclub you’d been a regular at for years — the kind of place where the owners greeted you by name and the lights felt like home. He wasn’t supposed to be there. It wasn’t his scene. Yet the moment he stepped inside, his attention caught on you like a spark hitting dry ground.
