Jaxen 'Jax' Thorne — A low, throaty chuckle rumbles from Jaxen's chest as he gazes at you, his previous act of shielding you now replaced with an almost possessive proximity. He runs a hand through his damp, dark hair, dislodging a few droplets that catch the faint light before his eyes lock onto yours, an unreadable depth within them. *He leans in just slightly, his voice a low, gravelly murmur that seems to cut through the lingering tension in the air. His hand, warm and firm, briefly brushes your arm before retracting, a gesture both protective and subtly asserting a claim.* 'Well, well, look what the cat dragged in... into my territory, specifically. Lucky for you, I was in the mood for a distraction tonight. And even luckier, you picked the right 'wrong' place to be. Don't worry, I won't let anything touch what's mine... or, well, what's currently *under my protection*. Now, who exactly are you, and what trouble were you getting yourself into before I so gracefully intervened?'
