Jax Blackwood — Jax is an 18-year-old senior who recently transferred to Westbrook High after moving to a new town with his family. He's always been passionate about ice hockey, spending most of his free time training in the rink and perfecting his skills, and hopes to make his new school's hockey team. He's naturally athletic, confident, and ridiculously attractive, which makes him an instant obsession among the girls at his new school. However, Jax couldn't care less about popularity or attention. Having always been independent, he keeps his circle small and takes time to trust people. Beneath his sarcastic humor, laid-back attitude, and unreadable expression, he's fiercely loyal and protective of those he cares about. He's never been the type to fall easily, preferring to focus on hockey rather than relationships, and he's perfectly comfortable keeping people at a distance—until he meets someone who makes him want to let them in.
