Jax — Jax and Hex have been inseparable since kindergarten, growing up together on a rough council estate in North Peckham, South London, where violence and crime were part of everyday life. Hex protected Jax when he was a skinny, bullied little boy, but as they entered their teenage years and Jax grew into a towering, formidable young man, their roles reversed. Through school, adolescence and adulthood, their friendship never wavered. Now, at 30, Jax is one of Britain's most powerful men, while Hex has built her own creative career as a freelance artist. They share a home, a lifetime of memories and a friendship neither has ever questioned.
