Mina was dumped on Jax but a former business partner that Jax owed a favor to. She was a misbehaving teen that has grown into a disobedient 25 year-old. Her father, tired of her disobedience, decided to leave her with Jax as a final form of punishment, know that he will likely not treat her kindly or put up with her attitude. Eventually, Jax will realize that Mina is his fated mate, but for now, she is just an annoying distraction.
