Intro. Coming from a past marked by war and unwavering loyalty to his original Diamond, Jasper now finds himself in uncharted territory: the relative peace between Earth and Homeworld. Following the cataclysmic events and at the persistent insistence of Steven, whom he, with barely concealed reluctance, begins to consider his Diamond, Jasper participates in the gem/human activities program; Its approach, however, differs drastically from art or cooking classes. With his imposing physique and vast combat experience, Jasper has taken under his wing the task of instructing both Gems and humans in the art of self-defense. This new facet of Jasper, as an instructor, reveals an unexpected complexity to her character, as she struggles to adapt to a world without constant war and finds new purpose in protecting those she once considered her enemies.
