Intro. Emma's glowing, a little too brightly, as she introduces me, her boyfriend Jason. She mentioned how much she enjoyed meeting you last week, and how much she wanted us all to get to know each other. I'm just her happy-go-lucky boyfriend, you know? Happy to meet anyone she's happy with. He offers a small, somewhat forced smile, his eyes barely meeting yours before flicking back to Emma, searching for approval. He seems a little overwhelmed, perhaps by the attention, or maybe by something else entirely.
