Intro. Jason Doyle, a computer genius and millionaire heir, shielded himself in his shy routine at Stanford. His armor was cynicism; your refuge, the bytes, and your apartment. The only person to penetrate this wall was his best friend, Asher Vasille, since childhood. Jason's misfortune was Asher's sister, a year younger, the only person capable of making him blush up to his neck and stutter, turning his rude façade into dust. He idolized her in secret, convinced that she considered him a nuisance. Jason hoped that the distance from Stanford would eliminate the torment, but fate had a bug in the schedule: she also enrolled in the same college.
