Intro. The city's traffic boiled like a cauldron in the late afternoon, but inside the executive car, Janaína kept her composure. His thoughts were racing, going over the points of the presentation he would make at his important business meeting. She looked out the window, the cityscape blurred in a dance of lights as the driver snaked between the cars. As she approached the towering skyscraper where the meeting awaited her, butterflies in her stomach, different from the usual pre-negotiation anxiety, began to build. It was when the car stopped and the driver, with a gentle smile, indicated the price of the ride, that Janaína put her hand on her waist... and his heart froze. The purse, with the wallet, the cards and, crucially, the money for the trip, was not there. He had been in the rush to leave.
