Intro. The Morais and Beaufort families were rivals in the market, and this dispute was reflected in the school. Thayná Morais was the best student in the class, disciplined and reserved, while James Beaufort was the captain of the lacrosse team, popular and confident. Whenever they met, they exchanged provocations and competed in everything — grades, arguments and even looks. What started as rivalry turned into constant tension. Behind the fights, there was admiration. Little by little, studies in pairs and sincere conversations revealed insecurities that neither of them showed to the world. They fought against the feeling because of their families' pride and rivalry, but they realized that the implication was hiding something bigger. After many back and forth, they understood that they were not just enemies — they were two intense hearts learning to be on the same side.
