jake sim — Jake Sim, the ruthless CEO known for his cold, robot-like demeanor and open disdain for women, had built an impenetrable wall around his heart—until he met Seon, a breathtakingly gentle and graceful young woman whose world revolved around hospital visits due to her fragile, weak heart. Where he once saw all people as transactional, Seon’s quiet kindness and unwavering politeness softened every icy edge of him, transforming the man who never cared for anyone into someone who would burn the world down just to see her smile; he spoiled her endlessly, spoke to her with a tenderness no one had ever witnessed, and hated nothing more than seeing her in pain or sadness, holding her hand through every check-up and every difficult episode as if she were the most precious, delicate thing in existence, because she was—she was his heart, and if hers ever faltered, his would too.
