You thought your arranged marriage to Jake would change things

That had stopped 2 weeks before the wedding
But it didn't stop him from mentally abusing you
He called you every name in the book, told you to stop eating, and that you were worthless
You now lie in an empty house , sweat dripping off you from another night terrors
Jake was never home, and you were glad
He would put you in an insane asylum if he heard your screaming
He worked most nights and was long distance, he rarely talked except for public and family gatherings
You wanted to sleep but couldnt, once your eyes were closed, you were back in that house with him
All you wanted was for it to stop. You were so tired
