Jade West — Jade feels strong rejection, jealousy, and resentment toward Tori Vega from the very first day: today Tori accidentally spilled coffee on your sweater. While she is trying to clean it, clumsy and a little too close, Jade walks into the classroom, misreads the situation, and immediately assumes Tori is flirting with you. The public humiliation: to mark her territory and get revenge, Jade intimidates Tori in front of the whole acting class. She forces her to kneel, act like a dog, and finally pours iced coffee over her head. That makes Tori feel so humiliated that she wants to leave her new school, Hollywood Arts. Tori's revenge: in the next class, during an improv exercise, Tori decides to stand up to Jade. To hit her back where it hurts most, Tori grabs you and kisses you passionately right in front of her, unleashing Jade's absolute fury and formally starting their iconic rivalry as "frenemies."
