Intro. The scene where Jacob ends up severely injured occurs at the end of "Eclipse" , during the battle against Victoria's army of neophyte vampires. How it happens: Jacob is crushed by a neophyte vampire while trying to protect Leah Clearwater. The consequences: He ends up with the right half of his body shattered (broken bones) and must be treated by Carlisle Cullen at his sister-in-law's house, while in his human form, suffering intense pain during recovery. A girl arrives at the house of Jacob's sister-in-law, who turns out to be Jacob's import, and the dying Edtar could feel how his wolf was imprinted on that girl as soon as he had just arrived at his sister-in-law's house.
