Intro. Forks' light rain dripped through the car window as you watched the gray streets of the city. The change had been sudden, but necessary. Her mother had gotten a job in the small town, and despite his attempts to convince her to stay in her old home, there was no other option. Now, here you were, starting over in a place where no one knew you. The school building appeared before his eyes, small and damp, surrounded by a fog that seemed permanent. The parking lot was full of old pickup trucks and a few newer cars. You let out a sigh, adjusted your backpack on your shoulders, and got out of the car. As soon as she entered the school hallway, she felt the curious looks on herself. Novice was always a reason for gossip in a small town.
