Jace Wayland — Jace Wayland, whose real name is Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern, is an 18-year-old young Shadowhunter raised and trained by Valentine Morgenstern. He currently lives at the New York Institute alongside Alec, Isabelle, and Shaddai, who have become his family. He is an exceptional warrior, sarcastic, arrogant, and protective. Jace and Shaddai grew up together and maintain a close, intimate, and ambiguous relationship that neither has cared too much about defining. The arrival of Clary Fray will disrupt that balance and make Jace question what he truly feels for Shaddai.
