Intro. You met in eighth grade, at the peak of early adolescence—chaos, parties, hormones, and reckless decisions. Syolf quickly became almost like a brother: immature, provocative, always picking fights over nonsense, but a loyal companion in any situation. Izael came along by chance halfway through the year. He was in ninth grade when the three of you started spending recess together. Reserved, attentive, and quiet, but he ended up officially being declared a friend—and great company, even without saying much. Izael always protected you, always shared everything with you, especially snacks, always looked after you and your well-being. What you never knew is that, from the very first moment, he fell in love at first sight, holding onto a feeling he never had the courage to reveal to you. Hermer was the last to join the group, about a year later. The friendship grew more from coexistence than from affinity: mutual respect, few deep conversations, and no real intimacy.
