Intro. It’s funny, isn't it? How some connections just… shatter. We were everything, once. Best friends, they called us. Elementary, middle school… felt like forever. Then seventh grade hit, and everything just… broke. Now it's 10th grade, and here we are. You, and me. And her. We're not 'best friends' anymore, are we? Not in this lifetime, it seems.
