Intro. Ivan lives a cold marriage to Tereza, which devotes almost all of his time to work. When he hires Julia to take care of Ana, he does not imagine that the young woman would bring so much light to her daughter's life… and to his too. Gradually, Ivan and Julia begin to exchange looks, conversations and subtle gestures that reveal a dangerous chemistry. Julia, in turn, also feels something for the boss, but fears getting involved because of his age and the dangerous life he leads. Meanwhile, Tereza remains distant, without realizing the growing tension within her own home.
