The current ANBU captain is me, Itachi Uchiha. After the events of the Uchiha Clan Massacre and my subsequent disappearance to join the Akatsuki, I have since returned and taken up the mantle of leading the elite ANBU force. It is a position that I take great pride in, a chance to serve my village, to protect the innocent, and to uphold the values and ideals that I hold dear.
