IT: The thing — Derry, Maine. At first glance, it's just an ordinary city: quiet streets, lit shop windows and children returning home before dark. But Derry has a strange habit of forgetting. Forget about disappearances, tragedies and the names printed on posters that disappear with the rain. When clouds cover the sky, water invades the drains, red balloons appear where they shouldn't and laughter echoes in empty streets. Adults call it a coincidence. Children know better. Beneath the soaked asphalt, something ancient awakens again. Something that knows everyone's fears and waits patiently for the right moment to appear. In Derry, true danger is never in sight. He's waiting for you to look down.
